He is now home from hospital but still weak and unsteady. Pray for healing, strenght and comfort. I am sure he would love a call from those who know him too!

I would like to pray for help on getting a job since my employer is laying us off permanently at the end of the month of May. I don't know how can I pay for my financial responsibilities and health insurance. I need your assistance since I cannot do it on my own. Please help me to get job interviews and a good job with health insurance benefits, pay and good manager. I pray that as seek out effective employment, that I will speak only as you lead and nothing shall be on my own. Let my conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Lord, this day You know my needs, You know my struggles, You know the crisis I face each day and you are not a God of confusion but a God who hears and answers

The town of Bunia, DRCongo is in great danger. Just hours ago our friend the Rev. Bisoke wrote that the wife of one of the teachers was kidnapped by rebel militiamen when she, Dorica, and her husband Dhessi were at their field right outside of town looking for food they had planted.

Today my brother in law Dr. James Poplawsky died in his sleep of a heart attack. My brother in law was an emergency room physician in Texas and had been working long and tireless hours taking care of many COVID patients that sought his help. He not only worked long extended hours but also volunteered on his off time to assist those in need. As he laid down to rest today out of exhaustion his body went into full arrest while asleep. He passed just a few hours ago. My heart is broken as he was one of the best men I’ve ever known. Please pray for healing and comfort for his beautiful family.

Please pray for the safety of our churchmen, especially our friends the Rev. Bisoke and the Rev. Dr. Yossa Way, in Bunia, DRCongo. The town is surrounded by a large militia and internal refugees are flooding the town. Food is scarce for everyone as the country is on lock-down.
