Dear Christ and St. Luke’s Family:

This has been a really tough week for so many of us. I just want to remind you of a few things. More to come tomorrow.

As we are learning to navigate this new reality, I am very aware that besides the threat of physical illness,  also isolation, anxiety over illness, jobs, the savings, cabin fever and loneliness can become overwhelming.

Your church cares. Here is what we are offering:

Prayer Wall for Posting Prayer Requests and Calls for Assistance

Please add your requests at christandstlukes.org/pray.

Parent Guidance and Support

Those of you who have children at home from school have the challenge of keeping them occupied. I want you to know that we are here for you. Jacqueline Beardsley who runs our children’s program on Sunday is available for support and she is posting activities on the young families Facebook group. Email: christandstlukes.org or post on the young families FB group and we will connect you with Jacqueline or another one of our church members who can help you with ideas.

Here are some resources for talking with your children:

Keeping in Touch

Do not be surprised if you hear from one of the clergy or a fellow parishioner. We all belong and we want to keep in touch with one another.

Help Paying Bills

If you are facing emergency cash flow issues and have a problem paying bills, let us know.

If you wish to reach out to your fellow parishioners who need financial help because their work has dried up during this period, you can donate to the Christ and St. Luke’s COT Fund. Checks made to Christ and St. Luke’s and marked: COT Fund.

You can also Text to give by texting “GIVECSL” to 73256, and online donations can be designated. Problems donating? Call or text Michelle Sturges at: 707-326-7456.

Church is a network of caring relationships. We belong and we care.

Love to you all,
Fr. Win
