The Rev. Jess Stribling

The Rev. Jess Stribling

Fr Jess Stribling has been with Christ and St. Luke’s since 2006, first as an assisting priest and, since 2011, as an adjunct clergy at the seven o’clock Thursday morning Eucharist. After serving parishes in northern Virginia and simultaneously practicing law in Washington, D.C., he and his wife, Miriam, retired to Hampton Roads in 2002 to be near their daughter and her family.

Kevin Kwan

Kevin Kwan

Kevin joined the staff in October 2012. He is only the fifth person to hold the position since 1889.

A native of San Francisco, Mr. Kwan received his degrees from the University of California, San Diego and the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied with Todd Wilson. Upon completion of his studies, Mr. Kwan served as Organ Scholar at Gloucester Cathedral.

Marjorie Setnicky

Marjorie Setnicky

Marjorie has a background in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music (preparatory department) and Music Education from Bowling Green State University. Marjorie studied piano with Francis Burnett, harpsichord with Dr. Vincent Corrigan, and organ with Dr. Allen Shaffer. She has a large piano studio as well as Musikgarten for babies and toddlers.

Stephanie Bailey

Stephanie originally hails from Dallas, Texas. She graduate with a B.A. in Art History from the University of Alabama in 2010. In addition to being the nursery coordinator for Christ and St. Luke’s, she is a preschool teacher in the 2s program at First Presbyterian Preschool. She loves to read, draw, and paint. She lives in Norfolk with her musician husband and their two cats.

Michelle Sturges

Michelle Sturges has been the bookkeeper for Christ and St. Luke’s since 2015. Michelle has over 20 years experience in bookkeeping. Her husband is currently active duty Coast Guard in Portsmouth.
